Hey there,
I recently just bought a new domain name.
(URL address blocked: See forum rules)
Through the website Gem3 (URL address blocked: See forum rules)
And thats all good! But i also have a website i own but through a mate i havent been in touch with for a while! that site is trickerz.com just a random site of intrest!
Now i have a Cpanel Account through my mate for trickerz.com.
(Btw the Whois on trickerz.com states its bought with Gem3)
So in my Gem3 simplytutorials.org account i have changed the DNS to the same as the trickerz.com Name Servers:
Name Server: NS3.TERABYTE-WEBHOSTING.COM
Name Server: NS4.TERABYTE-WEBHOSTING.COM
There currently Pending! since say 10 min ago so they obviously have up to 24-48 hours to complete!
But the Question! How do i now get acess to my simplytutorials.org through my Cpanel? can i add it with my trickerz Cpanel account or what do i do?
I dont have 1000+ to fork out on my own personal cpanel so im lucky i have an account under my mate!
Thanks ANY information at all to fill me in on would be most appreciated!
Btw sorry if i frustrate the majority of my low level of knowlege in such a system! .im more of a Wysiwig webdesigner Cms type person but when it comes to the background knowlege i am oblivious!
Thankyou
kris / simplytutorials

Is trickerz hosted through a hosting company, or is your friend hosting it himself?
If it's through a hosting company, then you may be able to park your domain through his account, but won't be able to use his cpanel account features for the 2nd domain, unless you make it primary.
Yes, cpanel does cost a lot, but you can host the 2nd domain at a variety of hosts out there, many that offer cpanel, or even a control panel very similar.
What is your goal with trying to put 2 domains on this one account?
If trickerz.com is being hosted somewhere, then the friend was sent nameservers to list at the domain registrar. But if your domain isn't hosted there, then adding the nameservers to your domain won't do any good, as the hosting company has to set up access for the domain.

True true well i stoped the transfer and im trying to get in contact with him!, Oh and the purpose of 2 on 1 account was because i have a Large amount of Megz and Bandwidth to chew in that account and wouldnt it cost me bandwidth and space if i went out and bought another DNS?
Edit: also somthing you can help me with mayb in my Gem3 account there is no FTP. i tried with WS_FTP and that didnt connect and there is no tool in there when in there guide they state there is a tool to upload? is my .org just a simple domain no space! it has 3 DNS running just on Gem3 links? does this mean i need to go find a DNS or Host now?

That's why you go and research the different hosting companies based on your needs. Visit the "Web Hosting Offers" forum to view various specifications. Figure out what your needs are as well, for bandwidth and space before proceeding. Here are a few of the things to consider when searching for a hosting company:
1) Bandwidth allotment (And how much if you exceed the bandwidth).
2) How much space do you receive
3) Linux or Windows Server (This may make a different if you are coding your site in asp or some windows branded language)
4) How many subdomains, email addresses, parked domains, etc, are you allowed.

Cpanel is a control panel. Domains aren't connected to a control panel. They are linked to a host which has a control panel installed for their users to make things easier to manage.
