Fonts and Photoshop

Hi together,

I want to add new fonts to the Photoshop 5 fonts list, but by simply installing fonts into Windows (98 SE), they doesn't show up there (although beeing present in all other applications).

In the help file they also talk about a 'local fonts folder' in the application's directory, but there isn't one.

Can anybody please help ?

That's odd. And the font files don't have any attributes like hidden? I use Win98 and have my fonts installed in windows/fonts folder. All the fonts I have installed there show up in Photoshop 5.5. Although some cause PS to crash.

Try re-installing photoshop.
